Re-examination for Postman/Mail guard examination 2014, held during September 2016 in Delhi Circle – Regarding

This is to inform that re-examination for the Postman/Mail guard Exam 2014, Held On 10/09/2016, 11/09/2016, 24/09/2016, 25/09/2016 (Which was cancelled) will be conducted tentatively in the month of May 2017. It is clarified that only those candidates who had actually appeared in the Postman/ Mail guard examination held on aforesaid dates and against whom nothing adverse was found during the said examination, are only being allowed to re-appear in the examination. It should be noted that the re-examination shall be online (Computer Based)

It is also to inform that the candidature of such eligible candidates who belong to the community included in the central list of OBC by Central Government vide Gazette Notification dated 04/03/2014, which was quashed and set aside by Hon’ble Supreme Court vide order dated 17/03/2015, will be provisional and their category will be treated as per the judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court.

Education Qualificaton

• Candidate must be at least 10th class pass from NIOS, State Level Education Board, CBSE or CISCE.

Computer Knowledge

The Candidate must have computer knowledge for basic uses & application. The applicant must have a valid computer training/learning certificate of at least 60 days programme/diploma from a listed computer centre.

Age Condition

• The age of the candidate must not below 18 years and the maximum age for Gramin Dak Sevaks posts different from different states.
• The age bar will be counted as on the last date of filling up the online registration form i.e 5th May 2017.
• The upper age for the reserved categories is relaxable by 03 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PH category Candidates.

Selection Process

• Neither the written exam nor the interview shall be conducted.
• The selection will be made on the basis of 10th class marks only.
• In case of multiple application haveing the equal numbers in 10th standard, the high aged candidate will be preferred.

Application Fee

• For General, OBC (Male) candidates - 100/-
• All Female, and SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
• The application charges for GDS posts can be paid via Head Post Offices Only.No other payment mode is available at India Post.

Documents to be uploaded Online:

• 10th Class Mark Sheet.
• Computer Literacy Certificate.
• Photograph of the applicant.
• Signature of the Candidate.

How to Apply Online

1. Visit the Official Online Portal.
2. Tap the "Registration" link from the top of the homepage.
3. Provide the asked details about the candidate to get the application fee challan and the registration id.
4. Then, go to the nearby India Post Office and make the application fee payment as required.
5. While paying the fee, you need to mention your Registration Number at the counter.
6. Now, Open the official Website again which is mentioned in the step 1 and click "Apply Online" link.
7. Fill the registration no that you obtained via SMS.
8. Select the Postal Circle.
9. Provide the required details about the candidate.
10. Upload the essential certificates, marks, and the scanned signature along with the photograph.
11. Once the registration process is over, take out the print of your application form because it will be helpful at the time of documents verification.

Chandigarh Police is showing a notice regarding Constable PE/MT on its official website as - "Physical Efficiency & Measurement Test of Male candidates will start from 17/04/2017 in Police Lines, Sector 26, Chandigarh. The schedule for PE&MT will be available shortly on the official website of Chandigarh Police.

Chandigarh Police Department had invited application for recruitment to 520 posts of Constable in Chandigarh police. For the selection of these posts, Chandigarh Police will conduct various tests i.e. Physical test, written tests. At first Physical Test (PE & MT) will be conducted in upcoming days.

 SSC ER New Notice Regarding Upcoming Recruitment

SSC ER has Published a New Notice on Its Officially Website, Regarding Upcoming Recruitment for SSC Eastern Region. Download Link of PDF version given Below and same has been Reiterated Here.

1. Online applications are being invited through http://ssconline.nic.in/sscselectionpost/ by the Staff Selection Commission (Eastern Region), Kolkata from the eligible candidates fro filling up the Vacancies under different Categories of Post.
2. There is no Provision for submission of application in offline mode. Further, Candidature of the applicants would only be considered on receipt of print out of such online application submitted successfully, along with all required documents in support of claims made in online applications in the Office of the Staff Selection Commission (Eastern Region), Kolkata only, within the specified time.
3. The details about the Essential Qualification/Experience/other eligibility criteria etc, for the Posts, are mentioned in the Notice of Recruitment, which would be made available only on the Website of Staff Selection Commission (ER) i.e. www.sscer.org/ website of the Headquarters of the Commission i.e. www.ssc.nic.in/ Website of the other Regional Offices of the Commission in the 2nd week of April 2017.

SSC MTS Exam Dates – 16.04.2017, 30.04.2017, 14.05.2017, 28.05.2017, 04.06.2017, 11.06.2017

• Paper 1 is Objective and Paper 2 is a conventional type.
• Paper 1: - There are four parts in Paper 1.
• Total time duration for Paper is 2 Hours and 2 hours 40 minutes for the visually handicapped candidate.
• There will be negative marks of .25 marks for each wrong answer.
